does any one have any for sale and does it make a good handle?

Red stag is akin to elk and is somewhat thin, just like elk but it can be used with little if no problem.
Where to get it? You're better off trying to get axis deer which is raised commercially in the US.

I've made a few knives with red stag, but I like sambar a lot better. Red stag is too thin.
