I was jusy looking at blades on Kellam Knife. They sell the T20 finished and unfinished blades. $157 unfin. and $195 finished. The T20 is the original Tommi knife. It is hand forged from silver steel, the special Finnish steel. If you put a handle of birch and the fittings what do you think you would want for the knife. Kellam sells the knife for $345. They also sell the SPT blades progressively heat treated. On Ragnars Ragweed Forge site he sells Roselli UHC blades (hunter for $89).

That is lovely birch. I don't know that I've seen much that is both curly and spalted.

it's a great knife, nice handle.

Nice I like the handle. I never have much luck at doing that grind.I use rennaissance wax. Where did you get the Birch?

I use a file jig on a vise that holds a 12 inch file at a constant angle when I do those grinds, they work out well.
