Scapel blades?

I noticed that a lot of you include scalpel blades in your PSK's. Where can I get sterile scalpel blades to put in my PSK? I found some on E-Bay, but I am a little leary.

Drug stores have them. Don't forget to buy the scapel handle itself. It actually makes a great little firesteel scraper!

Called all the drug stores in my area, even the ones that supply stuff for home health care, and none of them carried scalpel blades or handles.

all arts and crafts stores sell x-acto blades and handles, so those would be easier to find but wouldnt be ideal

Best for general I've found is size #22. Big enough to hold onto without a handle.

#11 is nice and pointed.

#20 & #22 are great, and can be used w/o a handle fairly easily - they also take a different handle (#4 handle) than the standard #11 (pointy), #10(medium curved blade) & #15 (small curved blade) blades (which are used w/ a #3 or #7 handle)

Another option might be a vetinary supply store or store that sells animal/ farm/ranch stuff. You may find them alittle cheaper. Pat
