I went looking for another nearby lake today that a friend had told me about, it turned out to be easy to find but you couldn't walk around the lake as it was private property so you needed a boat to really enjoy it !

Just as we were coming to the end of our walk we spotted this big guy, he didn't look too happy that we had seen him !!!!

Wow Great pics:thumbup: There is something about eagles, they just look so impressive!
thanks for sharing.

Love the turtle shot. Maisy looks to be having fun as usual.

Cheers bro, they were really hard to get pics of due to their location and also due to them being quite nervous creatures.
Here is another pic of a couple more, you can just make them out in the distance, my camera is not too good at zooming in !

Probably caught Ol' Baldy taking a nap and scared the crap out of him! :D Great scenery! -Matt-

Awesome pictures as usual..that is a great shot of the eagle. Gene

I love BOPs. Birds of Prey are incredible and I can't imagine one more majestic than the bald eagle. Great pics as always. I am jealous.

Hey Pit, you better stop posting these pictures or maybe change your location on your posts to...say the Ukraine? If you don't there may be a sudden WSS forum-member relocation influx! I really miss the NW...planning a trip back home (Puget Sound area...anyone hear of "Grapeview"?) in June/July (if Uncle Sam doesn't hose my plans up again).

Used to deliver John Deere parts all over that area. Don't want to steal this thread but yeah I can see why you want to get back.
Just stay out of the sub base and it's great.

Great pics and awesome eagle pic.
It is no wonder many countries have them as a national symbol.

Those are awesome pics! I've seen 3 bald eagles in the wild. They always amaze me.

Beautiful bird. I always enjoy seeing you and pup having fun outside. Keep up the good work.

Don't take this wrong but I find this sad.
I could not imagine there being years between seeing eagles.
I love them and the other raptors.

Here's to you getting a good long look at a fourth this year
