Actually, IIRC, that picture was from a British law enforcement agency after they confiscated the blade as a "lethal weapon".
 
Can we post that pic in the next thread asking "What's the best knife for a law officer?"? ;)

The scariest blades? This is easy.

1. Cold Steel Vaquero Grande
2. Cold Steel Desperado
3. Those knives that Klingons carry on Star Trek, with the swing-out hilts.
4. The Black Legion Knife in "The Chronicles of Riddick
5. The Raptor Knife from "Mortal Kombat"
6. Gil Hibben's Tiger Shark Knife
7. Any fantasy knife made by Gil Hibben or Kit Rae.

And in my opinion, the absolute scariest knife that was ever actually used in combat.....the Fairburn-Sykes dagger by Wilkinson Sword.
 
I'll put in another vote for the Spydie Civilian. All those teeth glaring at you, and a blade shape that says "I want to eat flesh, and a lot of it."
