Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure
Slight convex grind with forged texture on the flats and an unfortunate hammer blow on the end below the hook
Black Micarta handle sanded to 120 grit for grip
Overall length: 15 1/2 inches
Blade: 10 inches
Leather edge cover. I can't imagine anyone wanting to carry this thing on a belt but I will add a belt loop on request.

Wow that’s great - I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a custom billhook before but I really like this one!
