  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Scary Incident at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

Wow - great end to a story that could have ended tragically. I wonder if he had a knife on board and just wasn't able to think clearly through all the anxiety of what was going on.

Water coming up over the transom reminds me of that scene in Jaws when Jaws is dragging that boat backwards and they were taking on water and swamped the motor...

I thought, from reading threads on here, "serrated" knives were "bad"??

I just know that non-serrated knives slide on big rope after awhile.
My last Gerber has half serrated blade. Dadgum thing cut me just touching it with my thumb.

My edc knives are not serrated but all of my boat knives except the fillet ones are. They seem to grab onto rope and tear right through.

I'm very surprised that nobody else came to help. I've been around boats all my life and one thing I learned early on was that EVERYBODY goes out in an emergency!
