My 3.5 was delivered today, and I just wanted to give props to Guy on his sharpening/finishing skills. My wife and I run an industrial resharpening business, and I resharp hundreds of blades for walk-in customers every year, so when I purchase a knife for myself I am very critical of the edge. When I opened up the 3.5 and did an initial check of the sharpness, you could immediately tell that this thing is scary sharp. In fact, I have no doubt that this particular blade is the sharpest production blade I've ever received. So, props to where they're due.....Guy, my hat is off to you sir!

Couldn't have said it better, I tapped my finger with one of Guy's knifes and it immediately left a hair line cut. Crazy sharp...

yep. got mine yesterday. I was able to do the hanging hair cut test for the first time. defetinetly the sharpest knife I have ever bought!

+4 This has been my experience with all three SK! knives I received from Guy. Each one of them is really scary sharp!

Its where I hold the knife sharp end up in one hand and with the other hold a strand of hair. I try and cut the hair by just moving the hand with the hair over the blade. I dont know if I described that well enough.

here is a link to an example on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsgPG-HOzd0

Mine took alittle more effort then what was shown on this video, but you get the idea.

Received my 7@10 with some sharp factory edges. After a bit of hard use sent em back to be resharpened buy Guy and he returned them even sharper then when they were new. Amazing edge work, scalpel status.

My GSO-10 is single-handedly the sharpest big blade I've ever gotten.Better than any other large production or custom blade ever.Guy makes a sweet knife.Nothing fancy, but waaayy functional with style.

That is awesome.

I hope Guy reads through this thread!

This is my definition of "sharp".

This got me curious, so I went and tried it. I can definitely split my beard hair as well, like in the video. Unfortunately since my hairs have some small curls it isn't too long before I encounter a sharp turn and sever the hair completely. I need to find a nice, straight hair like in the video. Not sure if I'm patient enough to grow my head hair out that long.
