This is an original copy of the reprint done in 1971 by Mr. Russell of the 1926 Schrade Cut Co catalog and it's semi-annual supplements 1926-1938. It is the most authoratative reference available on knives from thiscompany in the pre-WWII period. It is paperback and contains 108 numbered pages, most with accurate illustrations and descriptions. It also has pages with keys to their pattern numbering system.
This book is in as-new condition, not torn, stained, marked or creased. It has been kept stored in a plastic bag since I acquired it some years ago, but I will warn you that I am a smoker, I poot and have a dog if that offends you or your allergies. Any smell, etc. would be on the outside of the bag other than a likely old-paper smell normal for an unused 42 year old book not printed on archive paper.
Mr. Russell originally sold these at a $5 cover price. I see one offered on that auction place for $145 marked down from $165. I don't think it is worth that even though they are uncommon to find today. I am asking $100 for mine. If it fails to sell within a week, I will drop the price weekly until it sells. No trades, USPS money order or if you are international, we can arrange a PP transfer to a friend here stateside and he can send me the M.O. (Sorry, I don't have Paypal).
A scan of another copy I bought punched for a notebook. The copy I am selling is not punched and not unbound. I simply do not have a camera to take a picture of the actual item to post.
If you buy it and are dissatisfied with a valid reason, I will refund in full upon return of the book as received.
