Droid. Edible Plants. I got a compass too. Wish they would come out with a portable weather station app too. :D

I hate technology, and it sounds funny coming from a guy who makes a living from it, but there is something to be said for having all that power at the end of your thumbs.

I gotta get a list of my stuff up, so I can actually participate in this thread. :D

Dude, It's sweet that they are keeping people like us in mind with the apps. I don't have a smart-fone yet... too scared I'll break it. But it's definitely more space-efficient than a book... And less combustible :D

Otterbox case, and no more worries of breakage. Promise.

They have a Kindle App, that you can use to download books, and there are a TON of wilderness books that you can get on kindle.

I like the edibles app I got, and there is another one I heard about coming out, that allows you take a pic of it, and it will search it out for you. Damn phones makin' folks lazy. But they are nice to have. :D

A buddy of mine has an app that identifies stars, constellations, planets...etc. when you point the phone at them. Wild.

Yup, and I found a good land/nav app that beats all I ever seen. Doesn't replace the 'ol compass and map, but its pretty damn cool none the less.

I thought about making a BKT Mod App, where you could pic the BKT of your choice, and do virtual mods to it, to see if you might like to make some changes to your current knives.

What do ya'll think?

Ha! I thought I was the only weird one that had survival manuals in the Kindle app on my iPhone.
