Scenes from the 2nd Annual Big Sky Country Knife Show, Barbeque and ABS Hammer-In

it looks like a well run event

is the tv interview mentioned available on-line?

WOW!!!! Awesome shots Buddy! Thank you for posting!  :D

I'm still mad I wasn't able to go, but it's almost like I was there with all these photographs!

Is Tim really forging on a Grizzly anvil in that pic? What the heck?!?! :p ;)

Just had to throw this one in, even though it's not exactly knife related.

:D OK, the 'big grin' emoticon means I'm very happy with the photograph below. Josh's mother asked if I would attempt a family photograph since, like most families, it's rare to get everybody together in one place at the same time - plus a new baby, a special occasion etc. Fortunately I brought along two flash units and an off-camera flash stand which enabled me to employ the standard portrait technique using both a "key" and a "fill" light. I set up under the big tree down by the mosquito pond. (Ha! Those of you who were there know exactly where I'm talking about.) I made several exposures and this was "the money shot" in photographer lingo. Of course it's wonderful to have a great looking famly like Josh's as subjects! Here you see Josh & Jodi, their three kids, Josh's Mom, Dad and Grandma.
