I have a S&M File and Wire slip joint for sale. It is the Series # 6, Edition # 1 version in a Wharncliffe configuration.
The only reason I'm selling this is because I was installing a clip for a customer and did it on the wrong side lol. This is a user and, although well cared for with no rust anywhere (even on the inside lock bar) it does have various scratches from daily carry/use. The pocket clip is a typical 3 hole configuration stonewashed Titanium clip, and can be changed out for any other of this style if you want to change it up. I installed it using blue lock-tite so it is removeable but won't come loose of it's own accord. The edge was reprofiled to about 15 dps and then microbeveled on the Wicked Edge at 20 dps. This allows for SUPER easy touch ups on something like the Spyderco Sharpmaker at the 20 dps setting. It is hair popping sharp with a very aggressive biting edge from the heel to tip.
There is no blade play in any direction when open, when closed the blade will sit dead center or you can push it over to favor one side but there's no rubbing anywhere.
I have $50-60 worth of work into this. Asking only $70 Paypal goods to me, which includes STYD in CONUS, just trying to cover some of the cost of a new one for my customer. Thanks for looking!
