OOOOOOO...KNIFE PORN!

makes me wanna touch my "thumbstud"!

Seriously, nice knives. That Stag Gunstock is awesome, but what is that last one with the wood handles?

Yeah, nice box there...still got any ISOM's in it?
Hey Last Confederate, what's ISOM?

Ooops, sorry for a second I forgot I wasn't on the cigar smoker forum I belong to. Since Cuban cigars are illegal, among cigar folks we use the term "ISOM", which is short for "Island South Of Miami". :D

No, unfortunately those are long gone.:D Can you post a link to the cigar smoker forum if possible? Thanks-Tony

Hey there TLC,

In keeping with your other thread, that Gunstock is really a reverse Gunstock...and it is a beauty. Queen does a great job on those knives...makes me want them all...and a nice Partagas #4, while enjoying them.

Thanks Lobo, I gotta learn to pay more attention to Gunstock and Reverse Gunstock.

A nice Stag Reverse Gunstock would make a good cutter for my Corona Gigante!

You can see why some of my Latin American friends jokingly call me "Fidel".

Is it just me or does anyone else think The Last Confederate looks alot like
Confederate General Edmund Kirby Smith?:D

Thanks TLC for the cigar forum link, I may not join but will be lurking around,
I'm a daily cigar smoker since 1973.

It's a good bunch of folks overthere, one thing I like is that they don't allow "snobbery", if you can't afford big name smokes your still welcome. Which is good for me, I gotta save money for knives!

Off Topic: going further out of the original subject... but cigar related.

Last December I spent three days around the San Andres Valley, in Veracruz Mexico, this is where Mexican tobacco and cigars come from, I took a tour of the Turrent factory, where the Te Amo brand is made, and bought a good selection of cigars at great prices. In the town I got a 25 pack of Santa Clara (the other big factory over there) for about $9 US and they aren't bad at all, short filler though.

Here I am relaxing at the balcony of the hotel:

For anyone interested, here's a thread that I started in the Community forum with some pictures from the trip:

Sounds like a great trip. I normally smoke "Cuban Alternatives", they take Cuban seed and grow the tobacco in the Dominican Republic, same climate and soil conditions as Cuba, but legal for import.

The Dominicans are, according to many afficionados, better than the current Cubans. The reasoning is that the Cuban soil has been stripped after years and years of use, and no replenishment, while the Dominican soil is still rich (and in the same climate), producing better plants from the same seed.

Interesting, no?

I think this thread has been hijacked..... Love that English Jack! One of my favorite patterns. Great photos, thanks for sharing!
