Two older Schatts at 3 1/4 inch. Super smooth in the pocket with lean build and perfectly rounded bolsters. 440A steel, I am pretty sure. Made around 2002.
The abalone is minty with no signs of use at all. No box. Incredible, detailed abalone. I doubt the pics can show it sufficiently.
The black penn pearl has signs of pocket carry with some dings and dents but nothing that wouldn't come from carrying it. Nothing bad. No sign of usage or sharpening on blades. The blades are unsigned so it might have been a factory second. The penn pearl seems like buffalo horn but will catch a very nice brownish maroon tint in the right light. There is some translucence but it's very subtle. No box.
Both have great, tight action with that Schatt snappiness. No brass either, a feature I've come to like a lot in pocketknives.
