schrade bowie?

hello , I purchased a bowie just like this one shown
on ebay item#7228511980 is this really schrade? Or is this a china knockoff ? Thanks for any help.

From what I understand, this particular knife from the e-bay link, is a genuine Schrade bowie, information I have read regarding this knife is that, the knife was made and sold to Smith & Wesson for a range of knives that either Schrade etched a requested design on, or they put their own etch onto the blade. someone should be along to either confirm or deny if this is so.
