Schrade Collector's Club Editions

Has anyone seen before or does anyone have any information on Schrade "Collector's Club" knives?
This is the first time I've heard of, or seen a Schrade knife such as this one.
Look at this one on e bay (#6553807237).
 
Collectors club was ( I believe) a promotion in which Schrade would send out ( as I remember, serialized ) certain editions to those who subscribed to the program. You would get the same number each time. Similar to the same sort of thing some knife clubs do. I think I ran accross some of the collectors club little hat buttons they gave out they are somewhere in the giant pile. Hello Del I hope you are well. LT

I'd not seen anything like this anywhere before and kinda "wondered" since it has the 100th stuff on it.
And to think that the collector's club had 1000 (or less) subscribers??
 
The collector's club... Neat. I never knew it existed. Under a 1000 members, yep. Recently Camillus tried a similiar thing, and it looks like it crashed just as soon as it got off the ground. Sad fact of life, you don't know what you got until it's gone.
