I just sent an email to Dale inquiring about the different Schrade COPE patterns that were released. I've dug through the threads, but really would like to come up with a more definitive list, if possible. Here is what I have so far:

Schrade COPE (like a 12OT) Pal; 2-7/8"; clip
Schrade COPE (like a 89OT) Blazer 4"; clip, serrated sheepfoot, spey
Schrade COPE (like a 194OT) Gunstock Trapper; 3-7/8"; clip - liner lock

I'm sure there are more. Also, does anyone have a copy of a Copenhagen tin with the promotional offer? If you could post that, it would be great.

This is a disease. LOL!

Here is what I have archived, and it is far from complete. Much of the intro text is nothing more than cut and paste, but it does give a bit of background.

U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company

In 2001, the company changed its name from United States Tobacco Company to U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company (USSTC)
to more accurately reflect its unique position in the tobacco industry. USSTC is a subsidiary of UST Inc. (NYSE: UST) and is the
leading producer and marketer of the only growing segment of the U.S. tobacco industry, moist smokeless tobacco. The company's
leading brands, Copenhagen and Skoal, each represent over $1 billion at retail. Our other brands include Rooster, Red Seal and Husky.
The company is currently test-marketing Revel Tobacco Packs, a uniquely discreet option for adult smokers looking for an alternative
tobacco product that allows them to enjoy real satisfaction without lighting up.

The company sells more than 1.7 million cans of moist smokeless tobacco per day, or approximately 650 million cans annually.

The time was 1822. The place was the frontier town of Pittsburgh. The man was George Weyman. George Weyman, opened the doors
to his tobacco shop for the first time. Not satisfied with just selling others' tobacco, George developed his own superior blend: Weyman's
Copenhagen Snuff.

I couldn't resist posting a pic of the 165 COPE, one that has eluded me for a while now!

Here are a few with one of the promotional can lids I believe I have a full set of them left. Also some of the dies used I believe the one used for the money clip is there.

The 153 is real stag. LT PS I should add this picture of the laser carved box lid as you can see it is the same image as the snuff can lid. Even thought the lid was not made by Schrade ( at least I do not think they were NOTE the other die same image as on the lid this die came from Schrade so???? ) it was in the same promotion and in conjunction with the Schrade products. I probably have some more related pieces but, will add to this little display as I find them.

A POEM: To see is to want, to want is to need, if you feel it does please then it feeds the disease. The addiction affliction. Schrade aholism. Yes my name is LT and I am a Schrade aholic.

I have another Cope not mentioned above. (at least I hope it's genuine). It's a two blade Muskrat with one blade being a guthook. The guthook tang is marked SCHRADE over COPE U.S.A. Black sawcut derlin with brass front and rear bolsters and a brass oval shield, plain for engraving on the mark side. The pile side is just the black derlin. I missed three or four of these on eBay before I finally snagged this one. It is mint, but no box or papers.

Here is a picture of Paul's Cope he asked me to post for him.

Beautiful LB7s! And great stuff LT. Yes, Paul, I am sure yours is a real one. BRLevine's book lists 18 issues, 4 of which were sets of three knives. Keep in mind this is a 1997 issued book, so there may be more knives. Would be a good project for someone to make sure the list is complete, or finish it up if i is not.

Makes me think about what happened to the invaluable (to us guys) information that was in the Schrade factory; The stuff Debbie Chase used to access to answer our questions (or Tim Faust requested she look up so he could answer here). Probably ended up in a dumpster...

Which brings to mind the records at Camillus, and here I go highjacking this thread. A couple of your know what is happening to that company.
