Here is a beautiful Schrade Cut Co (before 1946) 4 inch Fishtail Switchblade with Butter & Molasses handles. It functions beautifully, opens quick and locks open and closed perfectly. The lock button functions both ways exactly as it should. There is a VERY small bit of front to back wobble when open as all of these had, even when new in my experience. The Handles have no cracks or chips that I can see. The blade shows some faint scratches from sharpening, but the blade retains ALL of its original shape and length, absolutely all of it! You can see from the pictures it has a little patina and a couple small age spots as I have never attempted to clean it in any way other than carefully wiping with a clean dry cloth.
In my opinion, this is a rare beauty in fantastic original (uncleaned) condition.
