Very nice Waynorth, i always enjoy seeing your knives, i really like that easy open, I'll put up pics of some Schrade Walden bones tommorrow, G.M

Here is a picture of some Cattle knives, and other equal-enders. Again one non-bone odd one. These are 3 11/16" long. The two Stainless knives are more rare than the others.

Hey Menace, what is the little bone handled Old Timer in the 2nd and 3rd pictures, right next to your 8OT? Is that a 50OT? Does it sport the milled liners? Nice sets you got there. Charlie, well done again.

Thanks Charlie, #3 in the top pic with the matchstriker, and the solo in the picture are both Schrade Walden 883 with the punch.

Thanks Charlie!:D
Think these are my last two bone handled Schrades.

But what bone handled Schrades they are!!!!
Very nice Primble and 2OT. A couple of their best patterns, IMO.

Here are a couple of Jacks from a similar time period. I scanned them together to compare the angle jigging versus the parallel jig. It seems to appear randomly.
One of the secondary blades is a screwdriver, which is a bit hard to see.

One more, and good night!
This is a great pattern. Very useful for most everyday carry, unless you've got heavy work ahead of you. This one will do everything else, and look purty doin' it!!

Beauties all guys, thanks for sharing, and yes Thawk that is an Ulster 5OT with milled liners, and Waynorth ,what did you do ? rob the schrade factory back in the fifty's, i'm jealous, i've never seen so many prestine Schrades, once again thanks for sharing, happy collecting, g.M

I have several, but for some reason it will only upload one pic. Weird!

Machine jigging of bone began in 1925 (may have been earlier in Germany).
the machine was invented, patented and marketed by George Schrade.
Schrade Cut. Co. produced many knives with jigged bone handles, presumably machine jigged sometime after this date.
Schrade-Walden, esp. early on, also made many knives with jigged bone handles.
Schrade USA made very few knives with jigged bone, and these do not have the same look as the more vintage jigging.
too bad they let this lapse in favor of saw cut Delrin and Staglon.
