I have recently aquired several Schrade Cut. Co. knives and find that there are no pattern numbers stamped on the blades. How does a fella find out what model knife you have? They resemble some of the Wladen open stock knives pictured on the Schrades R Us forum but not exactly. Here are a couple pics to work with.

If there is a way a novice can figure it out on his own, please let me know. I have looked everywhere I know to look without results. Thanks for your help guys. Matthew

Pwrstrk1,
Kind of hard to figure without some lengths, but I'll give it a try (this is only an educated guess). The celluloid knife looks like a 3 3/8" sleeveboard pen, model # SS7114. The swellend jack is a little tougher. It may be a 2091, but I'm not sure. There are definitely people here more knowledgable on this subject than myself. I'm sure they'll be here to verify. Nice couple of knives though!

Schrade Cutlery Co. Catalog E and Suppliments, reprinted in 1971 by A.G. Russell is the best resource I am aware of.

These still come up on eBay occasionally, and generally sell for $20-40.

Matthew,
The Open Stock area of the web site is of pictures that differnet collectors have asked me to post. It is far from a complete list as there were over 400 different patern made by Schrade and its many connected companies over the years. It would be a wonderful thing if I could get pictures of them all.
Finding a picture there of a similar knife to yours is more luck at the moment.
Once we find out what pattern your knives are I'd love to add them to the list.
For Schrade Cuts the reprinted catalog from A.G. Russell is probably the best source as Michael said.
They did a great job of getting all the info and suppliments into 1 book.

If you give us some lengths of your knifes (closed) we might have a good answer for you.

Hey guys, thanks for the info. I will try to get me one of those catalogs. The length on the swell end jack knife is 3-5/8" closed. The length on the opposing blade celluloid knife is 3-5/16" closed. And lastly pictured here

this celluloid measures 4-1/2" closed and is a single blade knife. Hey Larry, I would be glad to send you pics of a lot of knives you don't have listed yet. Mostly in the Open Stock catagory as that is where my main interest is. I did send you some here a while back. If you need me to send them again it would be no problem. It would be an honor to finally help out in some small way. Let me know when you want them. Matthew
