Schrade D'holder knives were the first of the series of 3 different knives. They have a distinctive tapered tang. The first production run of 500 have a serial # on the spine and are etched First Production Run 1 of 500. There were supposed to be a total of 1,000 made. This knife features a mirror polished blade of BG-42 steel @ 60-62 Rc and full tapered tang construction, 8" overall length with a 3-3/4" drop point blade. The handle has mirror polished stainless steel bolsters, stag scales and red liners/spacers, lanyard hole. Also included is a very nice basketweave tooled brown leather sheath, the original box and papers, and the original Schrade zipper case. The knife is new in box. It has never been carried, sharpened or used in any way.
