schrade imperial my first knife

Gradall I ment to ask in the earlier post if you have looked at the completed auctions on the Ebay site for prices on the knife.Its a good way to see where prices have been in the past and when they changed.Arnold
 
I know a few times where I was so caught up in the last minute "I've got to win this knife!" bidding that I actually hoped someone would snipe me so I wouldn't have to pay the outlandish price I had bid up to!

I've actually got all your Ebay handles by my computer and not only dont I compete but I'm really happy when I see one of our family win.
I guess I raised an issue that perhaps we have all thought about at times.I dont like smart derriere's and I guess at times two little horns appear and I retaliate and perhaps they or I are left licking our wounds.
I only responded to this thread because Gradall asked why the item went for so much. I was the underbidder all the way through the auction he referred to and I was totally honest with my response.The item was NOT worth the amount paid by the highest bidder.
I really enjoy the openness and honesty displayed by members of this Schrade family and have no wish to hurt the relationship you all enjoy which is a pretty rare commodity these days.
The 'Oracle" Codger is always looking after our welfare and fairness in either case.
When I get time I would love to share some of the quite rare Schrade items I have through photos. Hoo Roo from Oz.
