Schrade legal perameters USA ?

I did a quick review of those cable knives when they 1st came out which is out in the archives of BF somewhere. Very interesting design but.. I hate to say bad things about our Schrades, but the cable would not always lock up and was very prone to collecting pocket lint which caused the blade to not lockup.
I still have a couple of them just cause I love them, but after carrying for a couple weeks had to put it away. My son got one of mine for his collection which he keeps put away.

Anyone from out of the U.S. needn't worry about breaking any laws regarding guns or knives here in Wyoming. The local constabulary just hates it when somebody starts up with a B.A.R. downtown, however. And I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to stick anyone with anything, including a stick. There are a scattering of fixed blade makers across the West, but to find lovely custom slippies you would probably visit the West Coast. I do have three "New Hampshire" knives, all Schrades, and very pleasing. Any Schradaholics, Boy Scouts or Gentlemen are always welcome here.

Hey Larry I have spent half an hour trying to read your Tang ,I know that we Australians have a particular Larry as UL and that the great USA has a particular Larry being you .
Funny how two Larry's from opposite sides of the world have given so much .
Been a bit worried about putting the UL Tang Brand on UL ,might need to soak him in Bundy Rum first while the forge is heating the iron .
Is it Totally Terrific Young Larry TTYL or do I need a link?
I fairly sure UL is high carbon as it shows after a drench .
You might be a more refined shinny series UL+ ULV don't know ?
You are both Sir larry's to me
Been thinking of a tang for Codge but he's like a 2OT OC Ol Codge ?

I do know what you mean about the cable knives with lint nearly took the ends of my fingers off . I use it as a dunny knife ,sometimes it helps . It is my favorite one hand opener . Just as fast as a SAK .

Thanks Cal ,looks like UL and I will be busy .
I'll have to sit in the passenger seat in my Ute and start driving around the paddock for practise . Did see some of your Newy's very nice .
