Afternoon guys. My grandfather passed in March, very important man in my lif . Going through his belongings I found an old schrade folder (110 copy) with his initials on it. I would like to have the pivot pin replaced, blade sharpened back to an actual bevel & the lock pin replaced or somehow tightened. Schrade is no longer in business. Who can do this without costing much? It will be carried seldom but I want it in good shape. He tried punching the pivot to tighten it. Thanks!

to me it is in the best condition wright now, has a story to tell and memories of good honest use, why alter history

Schrade had a couple copies of the 110.
The Old Timer 7OT which had two bolsters and usually "saw cut bone" delrin covers.
The Old Timer 6OT, which was the same size as the 7OT, but had/has a single bolster and a fob/lanyard hole.
The Uncle Henry LB7 version had Walnut(?) covers for the most part, although I think there was a Stagalon version, as well.
Does your blade say "STAINLESS"? If not, you have an earlier version with a carbon steel blade.

Only person I can think of off hand at the forums here (who's name I remember, at any rate) who can do what you want is GlenBadd.
There are a few others here, as well, of course.
I don't know how booked up Glen is at this time, or what kind of turn-around you'd be looking at.

There are a couple threads here that show Glen's skill.
