And from the looks of it, it seems like BTI Tools no longer sees me as their customer since a good bunch of their new stuff are AOs, and those that aren't AOs all have ginormous blades of 3.5" and above.

I guess I'll now be focusing exclusively on SanRenMu and Buck for sub-$25 folders with blade lengths between 2.5" to 3"
 
I thought the Titanium Series with D2 blades looked interesting. One of the designs was a clear grab from one of Boker Plus' knives the Manaro. They probably licensed the design, but its interesting to see the same design made by two different companies.

all relative i guess. never thought of a 3.5" + blade folder or fixed blade for that matter as "ginormous". it's on the average to smaller side for my liking. too each their own though.

Asians and their smaller builds play a huge role.

You'd also think that with knife laws and offensive weapon laws getting stricter, more companies will want to maximize sales by catering to the magic 3" blade length market segment.
