A friend of mine picked up a set of Schrade knives in a glass-fronted wooden counter display. The blades are etched "Schrade Scrimshaw", and have rather nice white (I assume Micarta) handles with scrimshaw (or the laser version therof) work.

From the prices, this would be maybe mid-'80s.
Any idea exactly what this is, and what an approximate value would be? He didn't take the knives out of the box, but the sheaths are all separate (loose).
