Schrade stainless always "Schrade+"

I have a 34OT I bought at Wal-Mart a few years ago, the is not stamped "Schrade+", but it is definately stainless steel.

Is that normal?

Yes, search "34OT" and you will find info posted on when they went to stainless on almost all Old Timers, and some other interesting facts about late changes to the 34OT pattern
