schrade tang stamps?

can any 1 tell me what years schrade stamped N.Y. U.S.A on the uncle henrys and the old timer knives?

can any 1 tell me what years Schrade stamped N.Y. U.S.A on the Uncle Henry's and the Old Timer knives?

For the UH and OT series, like other Schrades, the N.Y. U.S.A. stamping began in 1973-74, when Walden was removed from the stamp. When it ended is unclear, and not consistent for each pattern. I would guess early 1980's at the very latest. Mid 1970's for most. The versions with the pattern number on the back side (Walden style) seem to be the older versions.

The 77OT, 94OT, 194OT and 61OT all have three line stamp versions, but I do not believe they had any with N.Y.

Can any one add to this list? Fixed blades?

It is no doubt obvious to MOST readers, but the open-stocks also are seen with that tang stamp.
