First up is a Schrade Walden 108OT. I don't remember how long I've had this knife, but it's been laying around for a very long time... I dug it out when I started to get infatuated with small knives but it's just so nice I couldn't bring myself to carry it. There are a couple of pepper spots on the pen blade, a couple of areas of patina out the outside of the backspring. The blades are solid and don't even have any rub marks from being opened or closed. The main and sheepsfood blades have a nice snap ~ the pen blade is a little bit slow and kind of stiff ~ I would guess it has some dried oil or something in there and I imagine it would easily work out with a little bit of oil and some opening and closing, but I don't want to put the rub marks on there because this would look really nice in someone's collection. There are faint pin cracks in the handle on the center pin. One side is almost impossible to see with the naked eye and the other is almost impossible to photograph. 20 minutes of playing with light and settings got them both in the bottom photo.. Finally, the tang stamp has a weird area of coloration on it... I'm really not sure what's up. photos included. Blades have no wobble and do not appear to have been sharpened.
