First up is a Schrade Walden 108OT. I don't remember how long I've had this knife, but it's been laying around for a very long time... I dug it out when I started to get infatuated with small knives but it's just so nice I couldn't bring myself to carry it. There are a couple of pepper spots on the pen blade, a couple of areas of patina out the outside of the backspring. The blades are solid and don't even have any rub marks from being opened or closed. The main and sheepsfood blades have a nice snap ~ the pen blade is a little bit slow and kind of stiff ~ I would guess it has some dried oil or something in there and I imagine it would easily work out with a little bit of oil and some opening and closing, but I don't want to put the rub marks on there because this would look really nice in someone's collection. There are faint pen cracks in the handle on the center pen. One side is almost impossible to see with the naked eye and the other is almost impossible to photograph. 20 minutes of playing with light and settings got them both in the bottom photo.. Finally, the tang stamp has a weird area of coloration on it... I'm really not sure what's up. photos included. Blades have no wobble and do not appear to have been sharpened.

Case 7 dot large sodbuster SOLD
I picked this up off The Bay for $35... the pictures were bad, it was listed as a 9 dot lightning S, which would be my birth year ~ thought it would be fun to have a knife the same vintage as me, received it and it was a 7 dot standard S 1973(?) which has no relevance for me. I held onto it because it's a pretty nice knife rather than sending it back to the seller, but it's just sitting so I may as well pass it on if anyone wants it. There is some discoloration on the spine of the blade and there are some gaps in the backspring and a pin crack in the delrin. There's also some slight wobble, but it's acceptable by my standards. Ever GEC I have has had similar wobble... Does not appear to have been sharpened.
