Schrade-Walden 153

Looking for some info on a new acquirement of mine. Its a Schrade-walden 153 sn 1171. I dont believe its in the original sheath but i knew nothing till about an hour ago. I see lots of post about the 153uh, is there a difference in the two? i would put a photo but for the life of me cant figure out how. i suppose i could email a pic if someone could see it and help

I'm not sure there were any Schrade Walden stamped 153UHs, and the only SW 153 I could find in the catalogs is a swing guard folder.

wonder why the numbering is so close from a fixed blade, 153 UH to the 153 auto knife. What year was the 153 listed in the catalogs?

I only see the 153 swing guard in the 1953 and '54 catalogs from Schrade Walden.

It did appear earlier in Cut Co catalogs as G1543¾.
