I know schrade closed it's doors on july 30 2004.
When I was surfing for X-timers I found out they are still produced by a new manufacturer. (see ebay )
Are these the same quality?

Does this mean the XT7B is also still produced?
 
No, sadly this is a very pale shadow of the real Schrade knives. They are being made by Taylor, Taylor does not make anything in house. They have it all made in a cheap asian place, where ever the deal is the best. Sometimes China.
