Bill (a.k.a. scibeer) from www.knifemods.com lives just a few minutes away from me.. he's a great guy, he and i hang out often...i stopped by his house last week and this is what i left with...:D he cranked this thing out pretty fast.. this is the perfect EDC knife... i hardly even notice it's there when i wear it..

sorry for the crappy pics, but it's a SAK farmer with OD green anodized alox scales.. he also has anodized black scales.... i also had bill remove the bottle opener and can opener and add a slick pocket clip... so all that is the left is the blade, saw and awl....:D

i had been meaning to post these earlier, but i have been having some issues with my photobucket account... i finally just got it to work...

if you folks are interested in one of these drop bill a line.. he's very easy to work with and does some amazing work.... he also makes custom fountain pens, that are absolutely gorgeous... i had him make me an osage scaled SAK tinker with a matching osage pen... i gave them both to my father in law as a gift...

the awl the saw and the knife are really the only tools that i use very often, so that thing looks perfect. great knife.

Caine, are those scales modded by him too? Ive never seen the olive green alox. I like those both alot....
 
Dude, that's sweet. Those are literally my three favorite SAK tools, and my most used. Might have to look into this...

Man Mike thats clip is a handy feature on the Farmer. Great work your friend does.
 
That scibeer modded farmer is awesome! I checked it out when I visited Mike and the work is top notch. I should be getting one soon.

I, too, have one of Scibeer's modded Farmer's...but mine went the other way! I had him add a pair of scissors to a red-handled Farmer for me. I'm carrying it in a belt pouch, with a small steel as I write this. it's a very handy knife!

That looks great Mike but why'd you have him remove the cap lifter and can opener? Mine both see enough use to justify keeping them.

That's HAIII anodizing too right? It's harder than normal as I understand it.

He lives close huh? :)

Nice new EDC. The lovely simplicity of that knife has always attracted me.....
 
I had these two made up. My next mod will be an Electricain Plus with a mag / phillips layer and metal file added.
