Damn right! It is currently in transit and should be delivered tomorrow... I am stoked for this knife, as this is my first Hinderer. I have been carrying my CRK Umnumzaan as my EDC for a couple years now, and figured it needed some refurb.. rather than having a naked pocket, I opted for the best knife I could imagine...

I am so excited about this one, that I am on a forum 5 mins before I have to leave for work, and I havent even gotten dressed yet.. lol ;)

I will do a photo shoot tomorrow and get some pics up...

Cheers all!

Dude!!! I am happy for you because I know exactly how you are feeling!!!! New 3" Slicer comes in today!!! You are SO in for a treat!!!!! Congrats! Looking forward to pics!

Maprik, that 3.5" you scored came from a guy who lives half an hour from me... I was just a bit too late to that party, and missed it, has it arrived yet?... oh well, Im glad I managed to score a slicer grind... Even though i dont have it yet, I am still looking for my next one ;)

I think the next Hinderer will be an XM 24 spanto flipper... The Beast.

24 is a beautiful beast. And I'm not talking looks. My favorite folding knife.

The 3.5" won't be here for a few more days. I guess things take longer coming from Canada. But a new non-flipper slicer arrived today and I'm back!!!! (I've been without for about 6 days after trading my prior 3" XM for a rare custom).

Sweet! The Knife is delivered! It was a CONUS only sale, so I had to get it shipped to a parcel receiving service in the US (i am 5 mins from the border) so I still have to pick it up... but its there waiting for me!!! I should have it in my hands by 3pm today!! Oh hells yeah!:thumbup:

And shes here!!!

At first I was a little worried I wasnt going to make it in time, as the parcel place closes at 4pm and I was still in the border lineup at 3:30 and it was long... fortunately it moved rather quickly and I was back home in no time..

So without further adieu:

To be honest, when I first held it I was like, meh this really doesn't fit my hand.. I got a little upset that I spent so much on a knife that wasn't very comfortable... so I switched the clip around to tip down carry, and damn, this is amazing!!! I literally said to myself "im going to sell this" because it just didn't do it... but switching the clip around solved that and now I cant stop gawking at it... Beautiful!! I usually go for tip up, but in this case the clip was digging into my hand too much that it was just plain uncomfortable. It felt way better in my left hand, which is what prompted me to switch the clip around. I was scared there for a moment, but now I think I'm in love :p

Cheers!

Glad to hear that it's working for you!!!! When I get home I'm going to switch to tip down and see what that feels like. I've always carried tip up and never even stopped to try and see which feels better! Anyway, great pics and that's a beautiful scale that you've got on there!!!!!

Congrats!!!

Congrats! Nice score. Give it some pocket time, based on what your hand is used to I believe you will find it "Fits" quite well after a little adjustment time (very different than what you were used to)
Enjoy

As I usually do, I did a full disassembly to get acquainted with the components of this knife... and I took pictures!

I really like the stonewash... it is really aggresive, and looks like it would cover any wear... The fit and finish on this thing is superb! I would say its on par with my umnnumzaan, which is no small feat.... I am going to carry it over the next week and see how she handles...

hahaha.. as I wrote that, Give Me All Your Loving by ZZ Top came on.. lol...

Now to put er back together, and have another glass of absinthe... its Doubs Mystique tonight ;)

Haha, I take my knives apart as soon as I get them too.
Part curiosity and I also want to confirm everything is 100%.

All that hardware looks superbly finished. :D

I didn't know Hinderer used Chicago/barrel screws...
I learned something today.

Nice! I saw that one, and almost snagged it. I decided to wait, since I bought so many lately. It's a beauty.
