I scored some blue fiberglass blocks from a local guy out where I live. They were salvaged from an electrical project. They are pretty massive.
They are definitely fiberglass blocks and have a sort of random woven pattern inside. They look, feel, and smell like G10 but is there any way to determine what grade they are? Based on colour, pattern, or...?
Should I call it garolite, G10, or fiberglass laminate?
Here's a picture of the end grain. It looks pretty neat. I'll have to grind one of the corners on an angle to see what the pattern looks like from a different perspective.
