I have added some pictures of the ASH-1 to the first post. I am no Lunde
but they will hopefully give you a little better idea of what the finish looks like after using the Sctoch-Brite flap wheel.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Picked up my flap wheel today and tried it out on my Cultellus. It did a fairly good job for having a rookie running the drill. The small thin blade made it kind of difficult to keep the wheel from jumping...but it definately looks better than it did.
Thanks again TL for the video...a huge learning experience.
I can't find any flap wheels that actually have the Scotch Brite material in between the sand paper flaps. Local Home/Lowes/Depot don't have them. :grumpy:
Google searches bring up wheels w/o the Scotch Brite material between the flaps and that's it.![]()
Well, to add to the confusion, if you search the 3M site for that stock number, 9415NA, you get the plain disc; not the flap wheel or whatever it is called.
