How does Nortons Bear Tex or Klingspor type finishing belt compare to the 3M product? It will be in a 2x72 length.

The medium red bear tex belt is pretty coarse. It will wash out grind lines in a flat second. I stand by my trusty 3m very fine green/ gray belt. Awesome finish after 400 grit.
