Went down to blade west and saw all the great knives and shared some knive talk with a bunch of great guys. Cut my pinky with my own knife. Helpful hint #37 If you make a razor sharp automatic, make sure you engage the lock EVERY time you put it in your pocket.
Thanks to Wood Chuck forge for the bandades. Talk about feel like a dumbass.
Anyway afterwards went over to Scott and Linda's and had some food and drink. Great people and great host. THANK YOU. A raft of people showed up and it was a great time. I am horrible at names and would forget someone so will not get in to the whos whos. I will say there was an well known Arsonist and some guy with a sack of onions. We talked about knives and used a couple choppers to hack water bottles. I was not surprised to find out skill is every bit as important as sharp. Not surprised by what you can learn from a killer maker. A couple guys had the wifes along and it was a pleasure to met some nice women that knew alot about knives too.
Anyway thanks to every one for making it a very enjoyable evening. Special thanks to Linda and Scott.
