I plucked this knife off of Scott's table yesterday, at the Chicago Custom Knife Show. It's the small Owyhee with gorgeous ironwood, Scott's "shrunken slab" style where the tang protrudes a little beyond the ironwood. The tang is slightly rounded and looks great this way. Much better than the flush tang, IMHO. The really great part and the main reason I bought the knife is that it's S90V with Paul Bos heat treat. Scott told me that Paul has managed to bring the S90V up to 60Rc, which is a struggle for him to do, with the California restrictions on materials that he can use. Also, Scott will be doing his own heat treat soon and it was nice to still get one done by Paul. I'm sure that Scott's heat treat will also be great, but Paul's the guru. The one and only reason I'm selling the knife is that my large hand can't get used to it's small size. I thought that by manuevering it around for a little while, my hand would get used to it, but it ain't gonna happen. Kind of bums me out, because I really like the knife. I have a hard time finding handles large enough to fill my hand and this knife should be fine for most others. I paid Scott $335 (S90V costs a lot more than regular price). I'm going to pass it on to a forum member for Scott's table price + $15 for FedEx overnight shipping within the 48 states. $350 total. Comes with box, sheath, all papers and Scott's receipt to me. Will ship right away for forum members with good reputations. The pictures are lousy. Sorry. It's perfect in every way and I'm confident that you won't find a better cutting knife anywhere. First, "I'll take it", takes it.
