Hi everyone! This is my first time in this part of the forums. I'd like to show
my new year's holiday work. I don't often find myself making knives, like to work with leather
more, but sometimes i get an inspiration to build some knife.
At this time i wanted to make something what I've never had before.
Something unusual, interesting design for me, but with simple materials I had.
So, wart of a birch for the handle with Tick oil finish. Brass fittings are from plumbing fixture.
The Blade N690 from blacksmith Andrey Birukov. Not sharped yet.
The sheath veg tanned leather about 7 oz, natural colour, a little carving ornamental and sуmbolical thistle on the back
Thanks for looking
Comments are welcome
