I had an Electrician and still have the Rancher. EDC it, actually. As a previous poster stated - that pruner blade is the answer to that wretched clamshell packaging (and quite a few other things). If they'd use a more wear resistant steel in the main blade I would have my grail EDC.Very close, I think I actually would get the Vic Pioneer Rancher, looks like what I want, without the bolsters or decent scales though. Part of what I want is not an extra blade, but the pen blade in PLACE of the can opener; otherwise it just gets to bulky and heavy. Thanks for all the thoughts guys, maybe soon we'll make it a PpBladeForums knife.
