Between the Case G-10, & the Vic Soldier, there's no question. The Vic is far superior. Although the punch is better designed on the Case, the quality on the 4 tools, & for that matter the entire body on the Vic is better. The steel is softer on the Vic, but that's OK, I also learned to like the Swiss pattern can-opener better. In this (very) limited test of which is a better beater, I'll either have to send in the Case for an almost complete rebuild, or just stick with my Vic.
BTW I used each everyother day in doing everything I could think of that you shouldn't do w/ a knife, including teach a few Marines I know how to sharpen (freehand).

AHEM, what do you mean even teach Marines to sharpen.
But , I agree get some pics, my grandson wants either the case scout jr, or a Wenger SI for his birthday.

I mean just that. Folks today aren't taught to maintain their tools. Marines (especially young Marines are no exception) I'm trying to get my SNCO to loan me his camera for pics.

PICS!!!! Your Soddy is unbelieveable. BTW how do you know when a knife is sharp? I see people here (PA) who do all sorts of dumb stuff. The only thing I can think of is if it slices paper. PICS!!!!

I don't know about the Wenger SI, but the Vic is a great knife (er, uhm, tool).

I'm feeling humorous so here it goes. hold it in front of a block of baby swiss, it the cheese cuts itself, yourknife is sharp.
