Scrap-mascus camp knife with W1 core

Here is one that is exactly what i called it, It is a mid size forged camp knife that I made from all the left over chunks off of damascus billets i made. I stacked all the pieces on plates of 15n20 , pieces of all different shaper and sizes.........shoulda seen that display trying to get them all tacked together long enough to get it in the forge!!!! LOL:p

I then folded in a bar of W1 for the cetting core. The over all length is 10 3/8'' with 5 3/8'' of actual cutting edge. The pins are nickle and the scales are Mexican Cocobolo. The damascus has a polished finish and slight copper accents. But not very noticable , especially in the pics.

Fantastic looking knife! Love the patterns that came out in that.
 
Now that's just awesome.
I've been meaning to ask, any relation to Dana, in Pittsburgh?
