Never carried or cut anything with it except arm hair..I touched up the edge w/some 1200 grit paper and a mousepad..She wasn't very sharp when I got her, but it's much better now. Ther are a couple very faint scuffs on the blade, probably from sharpening but they are very faint. Comes w/cardboard sleeve
