I will bet that we will see these on the Scrapyard site!

Nope, Dan told us at BLADE that they brought all they were making of this model. They sold out at BLADE I believe.

However they are planning on making other stuff out of Elmax acording to Dan.

I hope this is not true. I definitely need this blade.

Really? :(

Well, I would have had to modify the blade of this one anyway... Dan, pretty please manufacture the same model but with a drop-point blade? Pretty please??

Don't get me wrong, they do look better. They just get snagged on everything :-)
Hmm, sounds like a personal problem ;)

The only time I've had a choil snag material is stabbing too deep when cutting open thin plastic baggies. Solution: don't stab so deep.

I was lucky enough to snag one of these and a FFG RMD, the complimentary news paper in my hotel room was sliced so thin it turned into paper dust. Excellent knives for slicing.

How do I get one? The site is down. I only live about 1.5 hour drive, I'd drive up and pick it up but don't want to get shot or chewed up by pit bulls! :D

Looks awesome! I'm not familiar with the "vapor grind." Can anyone elaborate?

I think it is just being humorous regarding how thin it has been ground. Overheard Dan say, Jerry commented that he could see through it, it was so thin.

Dangit man, wish I would have bought more than two. :D:grumpy:

Anybody interested in selling a Scrap Max I'd be willing to pay DOUBLE of what you all paid for it!
-THANKS!
