Scrap Yard Forum Update. . . . . .

If the HD was made of infi, it would NEVER fail! But, feces occurs. Or said a different way, IT happens!;)

I'm thankful that Jerry filled us in on what happened though, makes the wait more bearable than not knowing a thing.

Thanks Dan and Jerry.

/pulling hair out ovah hera ... somebody reboot the darned SYKCO comps.

Dan, hire some of these guys with STEEL....they'd do it in a heartbeat and you'd have much better service too. Commit to a specific amount of STEEL annually (in ounces), and for every hour of downtime simply deduct "x" ounces of STEEL from their allowance :D That oughta keep'em movin quick

Haha, that's funny! I guess I'll start calling Dan Pawpaw.

It's good to get SOME news. Thanks Jerry!

Agreed! Paw-Paw...can you and Uncle Jerry come on down to Tejas and host the Lone Star Road Show? Bring the MOAD, cause we know everything's bigger in Texas ;) :D

Looks like the Yard is back up and running. The bad news is that the post only go through June 3rd. Haven't found one after that.

bummer it is down. I am in it and will "justify" (oh poor me, spend time at the shop playing with cool blades) a trip to the shop if you want to discuss how to keep the issue from happening. The hosting company should have this set up with a redundant virtual server as your coop as a minimum. Think of it as your no questions asked warranty. I deal with this everyday as my customers cannot have any down time (dod) and if my company site is down we lose $1m per hour.

nmci?
