I believe the Scrapper is the ideal all-purpose user I've had in mind for years. My ideal length, blade profile, and the Resiprene won't clang against the gun stock. Infi is a big bonus. The tip is stout, the spine is rounded, it has a good finger choil, plus the handle shape and texture are pure function.
"Sheath", you ask? My sheath is one piece of 8oz, wet molded, double stitched, and fully penetrated with Snoseal. Just a sideways twist to unsnap and draw, then drop it back in (a plastic liner) and pinch the snap without fumbling to align a strap or cutting leather. Belt height is just so it doesn't interfere with sitting. The sharpener is a shortened telescoping Gerber, the diamond rod was replaced with a medium ceramic. The whole rig is only 7 oz. total.
By the way... The other is my hunting pocket knife. The AZ- shaped tab hangs over the pocket like a clip, and is the only thing visible when wearing it. It's turned roughout to stay in place, the little extra piece behind the tab catches on the pocket welt so it stays put and a plastic liner keeps the mouth open so the Game Warden is just dropped in, pushed home, and disappears. The squigly lines on the tab are major drainages in Arizona

.
I hope you find your ideal too.

Regards, ss.
