Hey Guys,

So I know neck knives are smaller and less scary than big monster choppers, but given how amazing they are for EDC purposes, why don't they get enough love?! BTW I'm gitty like a school girl who's about to go to college and become a raging sorority ---- about my new Ratmandu CG that's on its way. I really love Busse and Busse kin blades

I kind of prefer my Rat Warden because it has that rounded butt, the sharper edged "prybar" butt on the Scrapivore looks like its just waiting to dig into my palm.

CongRats on the RMD!!!! :)

Thanks man! I'm really looking forward to it. I was about to contact you to get a leather sheath for it, but I figured last second that Kydex would be more practical for my uses. Either way, you need to contact me ASAP if that dreaded drag Prius ever shows up lol

I picked one up on the secondary market, and it's a nice little blade - much more comfortable than it would look and no issue (so far) with the pry end. It's my first with SR101, and man is it sharp...

I have a user, and couple in the sleeves ...it's a handy little blade and underrated for what your able to do with it.

I totally agree! The prying mechanism does not discomfort me at all. It's light weight and its RC is 62-64 which is amazing for finer work edge retention. This is definitely one of the most underrated blades out of the busse kin family.

I love mine. Great neck knife, my only dislike was the sheath it had some play. I bought mine 1 year ago, maybe they got the fit corrected on the sheaths.

yea I'm pretty sure they fixed the issue, because the complaint was consistent with many previous customers. Mine however had no play at all.

Been considering one, but so many bigger Busse and Kin get in the way.

lol I know it's a problem. However, it is really cheap compared to the rest and something that you can carry with you everywhere. It basically outclasses most other knives in that size/weight range. I mean with a RC of 62-64 on SR101 and with the Busse heat treat -- it's a phenomenal little package.

I have only carried one other Necker in my life, don't laugh, a CRKT Folts Minimalist. As I have browsed the market, almost traded my Tops BOB for a Bark River Bravo Necker 2, I have come to the conclusion that were I to spend money on any Necker the Scrapivore would be it.

I would already have one, except I am awaiting my Rodent Solution which will be my EDC fixed (no issues around these parts to carry small(er) fixed blades), and with that on the way my next purchase is going to be a large chopper to fill a void I have in my gear.

If by some chance they were to offer removable handle scales for the Scrapivore, I would be all over it like a fly on, well you know the rest.

Lol I gotcha --- well I don't think you can beat the ASHBM. Might be one of the nicest blades released in years. It's also iconic :)

I was secretly super giddy while opening the box when it arrived.

In fact I butchered Jerry's name ::FACEPALM::

I actually thought I'd found one, but it wasn't a racer. :p

In my searches I did find a Rascall scooter that would outrun a Corvette, terrifying to watch. I cant imagine piloting that thing.

Now THAT is a crotch rocket redefined . . .

Oh, wow. Before the new website launched they were listing the CG's at 60-62 RC. I wonder if they bumped up the hardness on the more recent ones?

I guess they must have -- but I mean wow what a bargain for a necker knife to have an RC of 62-64 with the Busse heat treat on it. IMO the most underrated Busse/Busse kin blade

Agreed, they are a seriously awesome value even at the slightly inflated price that came with the new website. They just need a good handle wrap to realize their full potention though, IMO.

I really love my scrapers...and I am partial to neck knives.

My all time favorite is a Charles May necker in s30v .....every time I put it in my hand I think ...this is living
