Scrapivore CG -- The Neglected Child

I really love my scrapers...and I am partial to neck knives.

My all time favorite is a Charles May necker in s30v .....every time I put it in my hand I think ...this is living

Yea Neck knives are great -- whether it's 1095, SR101, D2, or S30v (all very capable)

Bud, you listed steel in everything I already have and few more to boot!

Thing about neckers are the functionally and they lend themselves to closeness ... The weight around my neck and feeling it under my shirt ...I don't know? It feels ...personal.

Hey Guys,

So I know neck knives are smaller and less scary than big monster choppers, but given how amazing they are for EDC purposes, why don't they get enough love?! BTW I'm gitty like a school girl who's about to go to college and become a raging sorority ---- about my new Ratmandu CG that's on its way. I really love Busse and Busse kin blades

Lol indeed my friend -- I refuse to drive a Prius -- much like I refuse to use a Tacticool Knife without a full tang. I haven't started doing any firearm reviews yet -- but that's next on the menu. I live near Woodland Hills -- where in L.A do you station?

I totally hear you --

Pasadena pm me and I will link you to my YouTube

I guess they must have -- but I mean wow what a bargain for a necker knife to have an RC of 62-64 with the Busse heat treat on it. IMO the most underrated Busse/Busse kin blade

I agree. I bought a bunch of them. I hate having just one of my favorites. Sometimes my friends want them too.

Thanks Hindsight! I had little interest in most of the offerings by Busse and co. as of late, but the 1311 and now the Ratweiler re-release got me! Plus, guns, suppressors, the usual.

Just snatched a Muddy Scrappy to piggyback with the Muddy and tan canvas R3 I ordered.

Congrats! I'm using my scrappy as an EDC necker for now. It's 2.75 inch blade length makes it state and local government compliant in the L.A area.

It is hard to resist guns and (wish I could get) suppressors. Hope all is well with you.

I'm really lusting after one of these newer Scrapivore's, with the higher RC and slightly thinner thickness…. It seems they are using 1/8" stock now to make these from, even better for my purposes than the .140" from prior production runs….. :)

I use it all the time -- I can't tell you how useful it is. I'd recommend this for practical use over any other busse/bussekin blade -- not because it's my favorite and not because it's the prettiest, but because ounce for ounce it is the most capable blade to do what it's intended to do.

Got emailed from the scrapyard......mine should be in the mail Monday. Can't wait.

I am up to 4 scrappers when the muddy Scrapper I snagged in the classies here arrives.... I have a Muddy and Tan R3 on order, I am thinking about having some kydex made to piggy back the Scrapper with the R3.

Neckers are my weakness...I have a ton of them.
