Which of these are your favorite? I must admit I am leaning towards the Scrapivore bc I want to start collecting Bussekin, but first and foremost it will be used.

The becker is a definite purchase but Ive seen such glowing recommendations for the Izula that it made me think about getting it then a becker later.

To be honest I will probably buy all 3 of them... a BRKT Bravo necker and psk too :o

loving the pocket fixed blades even after getting my ayoob today

Anyway let me knw what you think. One better than the other? Which do you carry (perferably in pocket)? Or are they 3 great tastes that taste great together?

I have the izula and the eskabar (BK 13). Dont have the Scrap. I will say that the izula is more nimble than the eskabar, but I appreciate the slightly larger knife that you get with the eskabar. If you are going to neck wear the knife, then the izula will be better, as it is lighter. If you want to carry the knife sheathed in a pocket, then either will do. I think that when you said that you would prolly get all three then you will have 3 awesome knives that will give you a lifetime of love. I love Beckers and Esee's, but if chips were down, I think the Rowan heat-treat on the Esee's is noticeably superior than the Beckers. It is just so freaking tough, it's hard to believe that both knives are 1095. And I think the heat treat on the Beckers is above average. You can get an edge that is scary sharp on both with minimal effort.

I have experience with the BK11 and the Izula (well, my son has one of those) but not with the Scrapivore. I know you can't go wrong with the Becker or the ESEE - both are fantastic and will stand up to tons of use, but if you are already leaning towards the Scrapivore you may as well get it. You won't rest until it's in your hands anyway. :)

Its just that it comes on orange and has that prybar at the end... lol. i feel like the orange will make ppl forget that i just pulled a fixed blade out of my pocket

Its hard to go wrong with a Scrapivore. I dont have experience with the other two knives listed, but, the Scrapivore it a very nice blade, comes in many colors and the Bussekin SR-101 is hard to beat, well its easy to want to beat ON haha because it can take it. Also for the 60 bucks with a mashed cat sheath to me its a good deal. Full Flat ground, and despite the look of the handle it gives very secure purchase and its pretty comfy. You could get a sheath from Azwelke and then wrap the handle, makes it very comfy.

i think i am going to get the scrapivore. got a junky shotgun laying around i was given when i was little bc it says billy the kid on it lol. gonna turn it fluid at the local gunstore. i like going there anyway. i thought the bundle deal with sheath was only real way to go. idk about madcat never heard of em.

how do you carry yours? is in pocket comfortable?

how does the steel perform on edc tasks?

The over all package is very slim. So slim in fact that I would slip behind my wallet in my pocket. Most of the time I totally forgot it was there. I never cut a ton with it to be honest but it did slice nice, the Full Flat Grind really aids in that. That prybar pommel can be more useful that you would think to. I would open bottles with it even.

I like my izula 100% better than my scrapivore. The scrapivore just doesn't fit my hand right and the prybar digs into the back of my hand whenever i'm holding the knife. I'm not discounting the knife for others though as this could just be me having a weird shaped hand.

I have the Izula and Scrapivore. I don't carry the Scrapivore much because the prying end uncomfortably jabs into my palm when cutting anything hard, as others have said. It definitely holds an edge better than the Izula, though (and I have the regular model, not the LE). I also have a Swamp Warden and consider that the best features of both in one so definitely prefer it to either.

I've had the Becker and the Izula and the Izula is a clear winner. Edge geometry and handle ergos were much better. That being said I would go with the Izula 2 for a pocket fixed.

The Scrapivore is a good blade but the butt end of the handle looks mightily uncomfortable. Why not check out the Swamp Rat Swamp Warden? It's also a bussikin and a great little knife.
